How do exchanges work? πŸ“¦πŸš›πŸš²πŸ‘

So how do exchanges work? Well, basically:

1. Go to the website and purchase an exchange (http://www.thebikeclub.co/exchange/)

2. Its Β£15, you let us know your email address and what bike you need next.

3. We send you the next bike and you then pack your old bike back in to the box the new one came in - this should be as simple as turning the handlebars to the side (we give you instructions) - you have 21 days free on the new bike in which to do this

5. We then arrange for the courier to come back and picks it up when convenient for you

We do try to do as many exchanges as possible ourselves, which cuts out the courier and the boxing. But as we grow we're probably going to struggle to do it all.

Β

Now we do have to charge a small fee for exchanging, this is to cover the pick up costs. But you do get the new bike for free for 21 days (to give you a chance to send back the old bike and get your little one used to the new bike). We should say that you will get charged for both if you don't send the old one back, but hopefully it will be enough time - just let us know if you're having difficulty.

Β

We really want to make exchanges as simple and low cost as possible. We are working with bike shops and other solutions to provide drop off points which are convenient. We're hoping to start rolling these out in the next 6 months.
